Zachary Tries Peas
So Kevin and I were soooooo excited to finally feed our little... ok well big guy baby food. I went to the store and bought every vegetable flavor there was! Got home put him in his highchair, he was super happy, he seemed excited too! He was ready to have some food; that was until he tasted his first taste of peas!! The look on his face was classic, HE HATED it!!! Kevin and I thought well maybe its just the peas... so we tried Carrots I'm not sure if he was just already super upset that he hated peas so much or if he hated Carrots more... I will post the pictures that we took later, but one thing is for sure; it looks like we have a stubborn baby on our hands! We are just going to keep trying... I tried this morning and same thing, he didn't like it. When he is ready he will eat :)

Hey I didn't know you had a blog I will be checking it often now! that cracks me up zach's response to the peas! haha. I love it I cant wait to see the pictures! we need to convince Karyss to start blogging! love ya! p.s. I bet zach is going to love the fruits when he gets there. carson's favorite baby food was "chicken vegetable dinner" that was always a winner, but i think that starts in stage 2.
Johnny started out that way too. Maybe if you were to try and make his baby food it would be better. It's much sweeter and they tend to like that. Try sweet potatoes. It always works. Just bake them in the oven or steam them over a pot of boiling water, peel them(if you bake them), and then add water in the food processor to get the consistency you want. It's super easy and WAYYY easy. You can do it with any food. Even meats. I made all of Johnny's baby food. You can make batches of them even. Just freeze the "food" in an ice cube tray and then put them into Ziplocks for a month. You can take like 2 hours and make all sorts of yummy food. Pears and Apples work great for fruits. Bananas and avocados you don't even need to boil. Let me know if you need help. I have a total babyfood cookbook you could borrow. I LOVED IT!
