Memorial Day Weekend

k so its been forever since I blogged!!!! But we had a great week/weekend.... To start the week off my sister in law added another addition to our growing family, my nephew Carson Douglas Lumbattis was born May 18, 2009 7 lbs 11 oz, 20 in. He is a spitting image of Connor, but he is adorable and I just love him! Then of course work the rest of the week, but I took Friday off to go to Disneyland!!! Just Zachary and I during the day then Daddy, Papa, Emily, and Auntie Aimee met up with us later that night! We had a blast, Zachary was a trooper only one nap and he lasted until about 9:00 PM. The next day was Ashleigh Graduation Party, my older roomie I am sooooo proud of her. Then we just hung out with my Grandma Zacharys GG, was down for the weekend Kev had a Bachelor party to go to so Zachary and I went to dinner with Grandma, Papa, my sister Aimee, Emily, Ryan, and of course GG. It was fun! The next day we went to church then a BBQ to Visit with Ryan, Victoria, and Marley their daughter they were down visiting from Costa Rica! Marley is soooo adorable and Zachary had fun playing with her. After the BBQ we went to my parents to have dinner, go to the park and go swimming it was so much fun. Then to end our wonderful weekend off we went to the Beach on Monday, it was Zachary's first time at the beach and he just loved it! After the beach we decided to go back to our pool and going swimming for a little bit before we went home to BBQ , it was such a fun relaxing weekend! Oh and to top it off our really good Friends Josh and Karyss Bollen welcomed their precious little boy Oliver into this world on Monday at 3:23 AM (I think that is the right time) but anyways he is just adorable and I cant wait to meet him! Coloring Easter Eggs at Grandma's

Well Zachary got to experience his first Easter egg coloring party! Boy was it interesting he did pretty good at first, daddy was holding him playing with the eggs Kevin was getting nervous thinking Zachary was going to spill the coloring dye all over him, so I said I will hold him you take pictures... Well needless to say Daddy was right and mommy wore egg dye all over her! But its ok we got great pictures of Zachary attempting to color Easter eggs, I cant wait till next year when we will understand more and be able to actually color the eggs by himself! After we colored Easter eggs all the boys wrestled with Uncle David even my little Zachary was down there, it is soooooo cute how much Zachary loves them and how much they love Zachary!!! I absolutely love how close they all are. After they exerted some of their energy Grandma got the kids an Easter Bunny House to decorate, it was so cute of course I helped out Ryan and Emily and Lauren helped out her boys Jared and Connor. I think Ryan ate more of the Bunny house then what actually ended up on the house but that's ok we all had fun decorating it. All in all it was a great night and we all had a great time! I posted a few pictures, we took lots more, but I just have to wait to get the ones my mom took too.

Zachary's First Steps

So last night I was trying to take pictures of Zachary for his First Birthday Invitations, and of course Zachary was smiling but not staying still. He kept on crawling over to me to get the camera, he just loves the camera. Well I kept picking him and and putting him back down so I can take his picture and he just kept on coming back to me. I finally decided to stand him up and let him hold on to the table, and the next thing I knew my precious little boy was walking towards me!!! He let go of the table and took about 3-4 steps, granted its not a lot but still he totally took a couple steps all by himself. I was so excited, Kevin just happened to step out to the garage so he didnt get to see, but I told him and he was so excited. We tried to get him to do again and of course he didnt he was being stubborn. So its a start I hope he will be walking by his first Birthday! We will see he growing up so fast I cant believe in just about 3 weeks he will be one!!!

9 Months

So my baby boy is going to be 9 months tomorrow! I cant believe it, we just left the doctors and he is 21 lbs and 29 1/4 inches long! He is crawling all over the place, and trying to stand up to get ready to walk. He is saying mama, dada, and sometime I swear he says papa... I just cant believe it, it seems just like yesterday I was in the hospital waiting for my precious baby to be born. I feel so blessed when I look down at him and see him look up at me with that big smile of his, and everything that was going wrong in that day seems to disappear. I never knew that my baby boy could bring me such joy.

Zachary Tries Peas

So Kevin and I were soooooo excited to finally feed our little... ok well big guy baby food. I went to the store and bought every vegetable flavor there was! Got home put him in his highchair, he was super happy, he seemed excited too! He was ready to have some food; that was until he tasted his first taste of peas!! The look on his face was classic, HE HATED it!!! Kevin and I thought well maybe its just the peas... so we tried Carrots I'm not sure if he was just already super upset that he hated peas so much or if he hated Carrots more... I will post the pictures that we took later, but one thing is for sure; it looks like we have a stubborn baby on our hands! We are just going to keep trying... I tried this morning and same thing, he didn't like it. When he is ready he will eat :)

November 5, 2008- Zachary's 1/2 Birthday!

Hello... It's so hard to find the time to be on the computer... when I have a ton of others things to do when my baby boy is sleeping, or when I'm working.
Anyway... Our baby boy is now 6 months old. And I seriously can't believe it! Time FLIES by so fast, and I look at him and can't believe he was in my belly all those months ago. At his six month check up, he weighed just 20 lbs 5 oz and was 27 3/4 inches long! He is back down to only the 95% on the growth charts. He's such a big, strong boy! I never thought this would be possible, but I just keep loving him more and more every single day. The way he looks at me still melts my heart completely, and his smile couldn't get any sweeter! He's such a happy baby, which I am so thankful for. He only gets crabby when he's tired or hungry, and even then he still has a smile on his face. He's very active and alert, and always grabbing everything within his reach. It's really amazing how he's developing so quickly into a little boy, rather than a baby.
We had our annual Halloween party this past Friday, at David and Laurens house Zachary was a giraffe, I must say I have never seen a cuter giraffe. I just love that Zachary has so many nieces and nephews, I cant wait till Zachary gets old enough to run around with them!!!
Zachary is in a great routine as far as napping, feedings and everything like that... in fact he has been sleeping through the night for about a month and half!!! We were both so proud of our little guy!! When its bed time we just put in bed and off to sleep he goes! What a trooper :) Zachary is going to start eating baby food tonight... he gets to start with a vegetable not sure which one we are going to start him on... I will for sure post pictures later this week I'm sure he will love it!! Our little guy loves to roll around on the floor, and is very much interested in crawling. Right now he scoots really well, so I'm thinking it's only a matter of time before the crawling comes... I'm thinking by Thanksgiving for sure.
